Herbie PC Care started, like most workshop stories, with a single dusty desktop — my own. After years of building, breaking, and revisiting custom rigs and second-hand laptops, I noticed how many people in Tondo were just resigned to noisy fans, slow boots, and machines that ran hot enough to fry an egg.

What they needed wasn't a new PC. They needed someone to take the cover off, lift out the dust, replace the dried-out paste, and tell them honestly what was going on inside.

So that's the shop. One technician. Bench-grade tools. A printed before/after report on every unit. No upsells, no mystery diagnostics, no parts swapped without your sign-off.

Four rules.
No exceptions.

Quote First, Always

Every unit is diagnosed and quoted before a single screw is turned. The number you hear at intake is the number you pay at pickup.

Photographed Teardown

We photograph each layer of disassembly so nothing goes back in the wrong slot — and so you can see the dust load yourself.

Fixed Fees

No hourly billing, no "while we're in there" surprises. The tier you book is the tier you pay — even if the job runs long.

Plain Words

If we can't explain what we did in two sentences a non-technical owner can understand, we don't write it down. Receipts read like sentences, not spec sheets.

Small bench.
Shop-grade tools.

The workshop is intentionally small — one bench, anti-static mat, ESD strap, blower, brushes, a magnifier, and a stack of branded thermal pastes. Everything you'd find in a tier-1 service centre, minus the upsell pressure.
